In the newscap today: Apple iPad Air 2020 goes official, iOS 14 is rolling out, and a few gadgets head to the USA .
Apple has taken the wraps off iOS 14, the lastest operating system for iPhones. This year’s iPhones are yet to be officially announced, but iOS 14 is rolling out to older devices already.
So are iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, and watchOS 7, for Apple iPads, TV boxes, and wearables respectively.

But back to iOS 14, it adds homescreen widgets to the mix, so iPhone users can now enjoy this very feature that Android users have had for years. The gap between Android and iOS is gradually closing.
Another new feature is that, thanks to iOS 14, iPhone users are able to change the default browser and email apps on their smartphones.
Microsoft was quick to jump on this and has updated its Outlook app for iOS to support this new feature, so if you prefer it to Apple’s mail app, you can now set it as your default email app.
Privacy-focused web browser and search engine, DuckDuckGo, has quickly jumped in too and updated their iOS app, so you can now set it as your iPhone’s default web browser.

The 8th generation iPad will set you back by $329 for the wi-fi-only variant and $459 for the WiFi + cellular variant.
Samsung Galaxy Watch3
Residents of the United States will be able to order the Samsung galaxy Watch3 locally on Samsung’s website and at mobile retailers around the country.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G too
This new 5G OnePlus phone will cost below $400 in the United States. It is powered by a Snapdragon 690 chipset, coupled with a minimum of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage memory.
The screen is 6.49 inches in size and a 64MP main camera at the rear.

The next generation Apple Watch has been announced. It uses the A13 chip and has a new feature that lets you monitor your blood oxygen.
Pricing starts from $399 for the GPS-only variant, and $499 for the GPS + Cellular variant.
When Will the iPhone 12 launch?
Nobody seems to know for now when the iPhone 12 will go official. It is a waiting game from here. Hang in there, you iPhone lovers. It won’t be long any more. Unconfirmed rumours say it will happen in October.
