Samsung Galaxy A06 has pretty much basic specifications. One of the missing specs is eSIM support . If you are looking for a smartphone that supports eSIM built-in, this guy does not. However, if you do need to travel internationally and need to use a travel eSIM, there is a way to do so.
For example, I currently have two eSIM profiles installed on my Samsung Galaxy A06 and they work well. Pretty much what you need is what you call an eSIM card. It is a SIM card that allows you to download and install eSIM profiles to a non-eSIM phone. I have one here from 5Ber. There are other eSIM card providers. You can look them up on your favorite search engine.
An eSIM card looks like a regular SIM card. There is a SIM card ejector in the pack as well. You extract the SIM card and insert that in the phone. Next, you have to download the companion app to the eSIM card. In this case, I am using a 5ber eSIM card, so I downloaded the 5ber mobile app from Google Play Store. You have to register to use the app and then sign in.
The next task is to buy an eSIM plan from a provider – there are many of them available and you can run a search on the Web to find one that meets your needs. The 5ber app also has a section that where you can buy an eSIM plan from a catalogue of providers. After buying an eSIM plan, download and install it from the homepage of the 5ber app.
Once the eSIM profile installed and activated, the app will switch you to the SIM card manager section of the phone’s Settings. You should see the eSIM there. Next, find the setting to enable data roaming. It is under Connections -> Mobil enetworks. Tap the toggle to enable it and your Samsung Galaxy A06 will connect to the Internet via the eSIM data plan that your purchased.

eSIM cards like 5ber and others are designed to let you install and use travel eSIM data plans on on-eSIM phones. Do check the provider’s website or documentation for supported devices. This is because not all phone brands are supported. I tried the 5ber card in the Phantom V Flip and it did not work. So, be sure to check for device compatibility before buying one. This is true for other eSIM card providers as well.
