Apple has started planning the first iOS 26.3 beta to supported devices, after iOS 26.2 launched a few days ago. This release brings a few notable changes, including an all-new transfer tool for users who want to migrate from iPhone to Android, as well as notification forwarding to third-party wearables.

Transfer to Android is the latest addition to Apple’s set of transfer tools. It allows you to migrate data like apps, photos, contacts, messages and more by connecting the two devices to the same wireless network. The novelty is that this feature is now built into iOS and does not require any additional apps.
iOS 26.3 Beta 1 makes notification forwarding easier
Notification Forwarding is another significant addition in iOS 26.3, but it is currently only available in the EU. It allows third-party wearables to receive notifications from your iPhone. The feature can be enabled by going into Settings > Notifications > Notification Forwarding.
Once ticked, users will be able to pick and choose which apps can send out notifications to their wearables. The feature currently works on a single device, so if you have an Apple Watch connected to your phone, you won’t be able to receive notifications. The new feature is a direct result of the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, which forced Apple to open up access to its iOS notification system.
Another new feature in iOS 26.3 is the Weather wallpaper, which now gets its own separate section inside the Lock Screen customisation options. Apple is expected to drop iOS 26.3 in January 2026.
