The newly-launched Honor Magic8 Pro comes with different battery capacities, and variants sold in Europe will feature a noticeable reduction in the size of the battery. The device has already launched in China, available with a large 7,200mAh Si/C battery. It will get to Malaysia next on November 27, 2025.

The upcoming global variant will feature a capacity of 7,100mAh instead. This is less than a 2% difference and won’t make much difference in battery usage. But the European variant has a noticeable difference. The Honor Magic8 Pro, which was launched, will only have a 6,270mAh battery .

The EU version will have about a 12% difference compared to the global variant. It’s still a large battery, as it is 1,000mAh bigger than that of the Magic7 Pro available in Europe. This new device is expected to surpass the 2024 model, which achieved an active use score of 13.53h.

Reports have it that the Chinese models have a higher wired charging rate of 120W compared to 100W for the global and EU models, but still the same speed for wireless charging, 80W in both cases.
