Maintenance Mode is a privacy feature built into Samsung smartphones. It creates a temporary ‘guest’ profile that hides your personal data from view. This allows you to send your phone to a repair center or loan it to a friend without exposing your private information.

This video demonstrates how to turn on and turn off Maintenance Mode in Samsung phones.

This nifty privacy tool is included in all classes of Samsung Galaxy phones, including the low-end Galaxy A07 4G, Galaxy A07 5G , and Galaxy A17 , all the way up to premium flagship models like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Calling Card feature for Android phones was introduced by Google last year. It is similar to that in the Apple iOS , allowing you to customise how incoming calls from your contacts appear on the screen.

There had always been a big limitation for this feature from the time it was launched. It allowed you to customise how other people’s Calling Cards looked like on your phone, but you couldn’t do that for your card on someone else’s phone. It seems Google has found a way to remove this limitation .

Your personal Calling Card can be as colourful as you like

Android Authority have been able to access the “My calling card” feature in the latest beta of the Phone by Google app . This feature will allow you to customise your Calling Card through the Settings menu of the Phone app.

You can pick a photo from your phone’s gallery or Google Photos, change the font and colour, and then choose who can see it. Google also lets you decide whether the Calling Card will be visible only to your contacts or to everyone you call. You can also edit the saved Calling Card at any time.

This feature is only available in the beta version of the app and isn’t live in the stable version. The presence of this feature in the beta app indicates that the company intends to introduce it in future for all Android devices.
