The iPhone Air is the first iPhone sold as an eSIM-only version worldwide. Though a new report from China shows a modified Air with a physical SIM slot next to the USB-C port. This information was obtained by an electronics store in Shenzhen’s Huaqiangbei market.

This project in question needs clever space-saving solutions. This involves replacing the Air’s original Taptic Engine vibration motor with a smaller unit. The replacement is expected to retain basic haptic feedback. It will also allow enthusiasts to connect a SIM card reader at the same time as the physical SIM slot.

The phone runs a China Telecom SIM card and can make calls. It can also access 5G mobile data and retains its IP68 ingress protection rating.

The Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ have been out for some weeks now, and the non-Pro model has officially made its debut. The Realme 16 was unveiled in Vietnam on January 30 and will make its way to more regions soon.

This third member goes with an Air Design similar to the iPhone Air and the Google Pixel lineup with its camera visor on the back. The camera bump features a 50MP main cam (IMX852) and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The phone supports Realme’s LumaColor Image processing tech. The selfie mirror on the edge allows users to take selfies with the main sensor from the back. It comes with a 50MP selfie camera.

Realme 16 offers a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. It features AGC DT-Star D+ tempered glass and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Realme 16 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset, and pairs 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

The device measures in at 8.1mm and weighs 183 grams. It features IP66/68/69/69K protection and a large 7,000 mAh battery with 60W fast charging. Realme 16 comes in White Swan and Black Cloud colours. In Vietnam, it starts at VND 11,490,000 ($443) for the 8/256GB trim and goes up to VND 12,490,000 ($481) for the 12/256GB version.
