Edge 70 is expected to roll out this year. Recent news from Motorola confirms its plan to launch a flat phone called the Moto X70 in China. It is expected to launch globally as the Motorola Edge 70 but further details are not given as to the time of release. The leaked promotional video sheds more light on the features of the smartphone.

Evan Blass, the popular informant, has shared a promotional video on X, featuring the upcoming Edge 70. The post confirms the thickness of the phone to be less than 6mm, just like the Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone 17 Air flagship phones, two of the world’s slimmest phones .

The video shows of the sleek design of the Edge 70, particularly highlighting the flat display. Multiple shots of the handset were taken from its side, showcasing its thinness. From the video, the slightly altered square camera array can be seen. The Moto Edge 70 will feature a 50MP lens rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 120-degree FoV for capturing wide-angle shots.

The Edge 70 will most likely be resistant to water and dust but the IP rating is not known yet. There are three colour variants shown in the video—Pantone Lily Pad, Pantone Gadget Gray and Pantone Bronze Green.

The promo video aimed to spotlight its slim profile, similar to flagship phones from Samsung and Apple. The launch date in China is rumoured to be sometime this month. As for the global version, there’s no news yet as to when it will make its debut.

The much anticipated OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in China on October 27 and make its global debut November 13. Rumours have it that the OnePlus 15 will come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Up until now, no further details have been given on the phone’s specifications but a leaked post from Weibo has changed that.

The tipster, @TechKard, leaked pictures and specifications of the OnePlus 15 on X, originally spotted on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo. The leak reveals that the OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. It has an advertised brightness up to 1800 nits supported by Dolby Vision and Pro XDR technologies.

As confirmed by OnePlus, it boasts a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. With RAM storage variants of 12GB and 16GB, the device comes in storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. With an IP69 rating, it offers full protection against water and dust.

It packs an impressive 7,300mAh battery with dual 120W wired and 50W wireless charging options, a triple lens 50MP rear camera featuring a Sony LYT-700 sensor on the main camera and two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors for a 3.5x zoom and wide-angle coverage.

The OnePlus 15 will feature a new generation of linear dual speakers, cooling system, wet hand touch algorithm, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port. The phone will roll out in purple, titanium and black colours.

Compared to its predecessor, OnePlus 13, the OnePlus 15 has a faster refresh rate, better battery life, and faster charging speed. For now, the OnePlus 15 price is yet to be announced but will be dropped soon.
