Apple’s first-generation smart glasses haven’t even made their debut yet, but we’re already talking about the second generation. The second version of Apple’s smart glasses is set to come with an in-lens display, rivalling Meta Ray-Bans. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed more about Apple’s next gen smart glasses.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple’s smart glasses may be able to run a full version of the visionOS operating system when they are paired with a Mac. But paired with an iPhone, they switch to a more lightweight, mobile-friendly interface. Although Apple’s first version of smart glasses will not offer an in-lens display, the second version will.

With a starting price of $799 in the US, Apple’s first smart glasses will boast interesting features like, speakers for music playback, cameras for photos and video, voice control, and possibly health feature.

Rumours suggest that the first version of Apple’s smart glasses will officially be announced as early as 2026, before its launch in 2027.

Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra may arrive by the end of the year, rather than 2026 as initially expected.

Rumours have it that Xiaomi 17 Ultra will pack a sophisticated camera setup for high-resolution photography. Popular tipster, Digital Chat Station, has shared a post on Weibo that reveals more details on the camera.

From the leak , the upcoming Ultra device could feature a rear quad-camera layout—50MP + 50MP + 50MP + 200MP. The main camera will come with a larger sensor with support for ultra-high dynamic range. The periscope camera will feature a larger sensor supported by new optical technology, with the remaining cameras of the 17 Ultra having a standard layout.

Camera Specifications of Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra may come with an OmniVision OV50X 50MP main camera, a Samsung JN5 50MP ultra-wide lens, a Samsung JN5 50MP telephoto camera, and a 200MP Samsung HPE periscope telephoto camera. For the front, there will be an OmniVision OV50M 50MP camera.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra could come in two versions, with an upscale version offering more innovative camera capabilities, although both versions will feature the same camera setup.

Previously, the tipster shared that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will come with an advanced continuous optical zoom system, featuring a 200MP large sensor with a multi-element periscope zoom lens. The camera setup features a shared CMOS sensor across focal lengths, allowing for effortless zooming without changing cameras. Packed with other advanced features, the 17 Ultra will be one of Xiaomi’s most advanced camera systems.
