The expected specifications of Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone and the iPhone 18 Pro lineup have been shared by an analyst, and both devices are rumoured to debut in September, 2026.

The details come from GF Securities analyst, Jeff Pu, who shared the specs outlined in an investor note . According to the analyst, the iPhone Fold will feature a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.3-inch cover screen. The foldable will be powered by the A20 Pro chipset and Apple’s N2 chip. It will offer 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, Touch ID, and the C2 modem.

The foldable will pack a dual 48MP camera setup at the back and 18MP front cameras on the inside and the cover display.

For the iPhone 18 Pro series, they will offer the A20 Pro SoC, N2 chip, and the C2 modem. Both the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will offer 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 18MP selfie cameras. According to a recent report though, all iPhone 18 models will pack a 24MP selfie camera.

For the rear cameras, Pu claims that both phones will offer a 48MP main with variable aperture, 48MP periscope telephoto, and 48MP ultrawide cameras. The iPhone 18 Pro will sport a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display. Also, both devices are said to feature an under-display Face ID setup.

A new leak has unveiled the major designs of Apple’s first foldable iPhone . It’s likely to launch in September, according to rumours.

Reports from Instant Digital, on Weibo, reveal that the iPhone Fold will come with volume buttons on the top-right edge . This will be a layout like that of the iPad mini. Apple aims at preventing routing cables across to the left edge. That’s why there’s this layout, as a result of the motherboard being positioned on the right side.

Also positioned on the right edge of the device are: the power button with integrated Touch ID and the Camera Control button. The left side of the foldable will remain completely button-free, according to the tipster.

It’s expected that the front of the iPhone Fold will come with a single punch-hole camera for selfies and video calls. Then the back will feature a dual-camera setup in an iPhone Air–style camera plateau, also with an LED flash and a microphone.

Still on the report, the tipster also claims that the rear camera module will be in black. The iPhone Fold itself will launch in white and another colour. It will come in two colour options.

Reports have it that Apple’s foldable iPhone will come with a stacked design on the inside. This feature surely creates space for the large battery.
