Samsung has revealed new Odyssey gaming monitors . The five models feature 6K glasses-free 3D support and up to 1,040Hz refresh rate. The company has introduced the Odyssey 3D, the Odyssey G6, and three variants of the Odyssey G8.

Odyssey G6 (G60H) is another world-first, boasting an industry-leading 1,040Hz refresh rate . That extreme refresh rate is limited to HD resolution and the 27-inch monitor delivers up to 600Hz refresh rate, at its native QHD resolution. It also supports both AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync.

More so, the Odyssey G8 is offered in three sizes. The 32-inch G80HS model features a 6K resolution, up to 165Hz refresh rate, and 330Hz in 3K resolution. The 27-inch G80HF variant features a 5K resolution, a 180Hz native refresh rate. It can reach up to 360Hz in QHD resolution.

Also, the 32-inch (G80SH) model features a 4K resolution QD-OLED panel that has a 240Hz refresh rate, an anti-glare coating, 300-nit brightness, and HDR True Black 500 certification. All three Odyssey G8 models support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync.

Though pricing and availability details will be revealed in the future, the new Samsung Odyssey Gaming monitor lineup will be revealed at the coming CES next year.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 camera

The latest leak comes from GalaxyClub website , known for its reliable news. It claims the alleged Galaxy Z Fold 8, codenamed Q8, will come with a 200MP main camera, same as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 . The Z Fold 8 may also feature a 50MP ultrawide camera, a substantial upgrade from the current 12MP sensor.

The leak also suggests the telephoto camera will get an upgrade from 10MP with 3X optical zoom in Galaxy Z Fold 7 to 12MP 3X camera in the purported Z Fold 8. The selfie camera, though, will still be the same 10MP that will be available on each screen, just like previous Galaxy Z Fold devices.

With an upgrade in the ultrawide lenses, users should be able to capture shots with more detail and better macro performance. But that will depend on how well Samsung manages to tune the lenses.

According to GalaxyClub, there’s another Samsung foldable phone codenamed H8. It offers the same 50MP ultrawide camera as will be available in the Z Fold 8. There are no additional details about the foldable phone.

What we knew from previous leaks are that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will use a larger battery than the Z Fold 7’s 4,400mAh cell and also include an S Pen stylus. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 may also support 45W charging speed. As for the release, it will likely happen sometime in July 2026 or later.
