Monday the 4th of October 2021 saw a 7 hour long outage on all three of Facebook’s social media platforms. This outage affected a lot of people using these applications for various reasons (for fun or for business ). As a result of this Instagram has announced a new “Outage Alert” feature that informs users of the state of technical issues on the application.
Instagram will perform the test of this feature only in the U.S, there is a good chance that other regions will get this feature after the test is completed. The actual usage of the Outage Alert feature is quite simple and straight to the point.

By means of the activity feeds on the Instagram application users can now be informed of any technical issues affecting any part of the application. This feed will come with detailed information about the issue and what is being done to rectify it at the moment.
This update does not mean that users should wave goodbye to future outages on the application but instead it helps prepare users ahead of time for any outage caused by technical issues from Instagram.

5G connectivity at roughly $200 is what you get with the Nokia G300. Let us take a quick look at the specs of this device from HMD global .
The Nokia G300 has a 6.5″ HD resolution display and packs a 4470 mAh battery which can be charged at a speed of 18W. Included in the device is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as a face unlock scanner for added security.

The camera setup on this device is decent with a 16MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. This triple camera setup comes equipped with EIS for better image stabilization while taking pictures or recording videos. At the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter housed in the V-shaped notch.
In terms of processing power the G300 comes with the Snapdragon 480 chipset, which is 5G enabled, and paired with 4 GB of RAM storage and 64 GB of ROM which can be boosted via a microSD card.
Nokia has represented the pure Android feel to a great extent, and the Nokia G300 also lives up to that reputation. It comes with Android 11 out of the box and by Nokia tradition should have at least two major Android upgrades.
The device will launch on the 19th of October in the US and will be exclusive to two pre-paid carriers Straight Talk and TracFone Wireless.
