HMD Global is on the move again, rolling out three new entry-level smartphones in the Nokia C series. Nokia C smartphones are basic devices targeting the low-end smartphone segment. As such, Nokia C21, C21 Plus, and C2 2nd Edition all feature basic specs and capabilities.
All of them run Android 11 Go Edition, which is optimized for smartphones with low resources, so they operate smoother. The C21 series have a fingerprint scanner, while the C2 2nd Edition goes without that. In an interesting twist, all three have a metal chassis. What are the other features of these phones? This is the most basic and cheapest of the three new musketeers. Nokia C2 2nd Edition features a 5.7-inch LCD screen with very low resolution of 480×960 pixels. Its engine is a quad-core processor, and there are options of 1 GB and 2 GB of RAM. Internal storage is 32 GB. The battery is a 2400mAh unit and charging is old school 5W.

Nokia C21 has a 6.5-inch display around a metal frame. The back is plastic, though. That large screen has toughened glass protection, though HMD Global won’t specify which it is. There are options of 2 GB and 3 GB RAM, coupled with 32 GB and 64 GB storage respectively. Battery capacity is, 3000mAh.
Nokia C21 Plus
Having the same size as the C21, it is clear that the Plus here is not in size, but applies to other specs like RAM, storage, and battery. Nokia C21 Plus has 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options, and 32 and 64 GB storage options. We also have two battery options – 4000mAh and 5050mAh. That is a first, as far as we can tell. There is 10W charging as well.
The C21 Plus has an IP52 splash-resistant rating, which is novel at this price point. All three phones carry Nokia’s guarantee of 2 years of major Android software updates and 3 years of security patches.
