OxygenOS 13 update is based on Android 13 and features the new ‘Aquamorphic’ design by OnePlus. It is now rolling out to OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users in the US and Canada.
First announced back in August 2022, the ‘Aquamorphic’ design of the OxygenOS 13 Update is said to be inspired by water and nature. The update is rolling out to both users in the Open Beta Program and others not signed up to the beta program.

OnePlus 9 series users in North America who update their devices to OxygenOS13 can roll them back to Android 12, should they wish to do so.

The update file size is around 5GB.
How to update your OnePlus 9 to OxygenOS 13
Ideally, you should get a notification on your phone when the OxygenOS 13 Update is available for you. Simply tap on it to download it and then install it. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > System > System updates . If the update is available, tap to download and install it.
When the installation is completed, your phone will reboot with your brand new OxygenOS 13 UI.
