Yet another source stated February 17 as the retail launch date. Many rumours have come up about the Pixel 10a’s release, especially the retail availability.

A leaker, Evan Blass on X, doesn’t state any particular time but explains pre-orders will begin in late February , and retail release won’t occur till the first week of March.

No doubt new products will be introduced at MWC 2026 in Barcelona in March. This means March is going to be filled up for the tech world. Probably we won’t have Pixel 10a until the month of March runs out. This is because there seems to be no possibility of the device orders arriving around that same time.

However, there’s still a long time from now till then. More details about the exact time the Pixel 10a could launch will definitely unfold.

OpenAI has released Google Translate’s newest competitor, ChatGPT Translate. It uses artificial intelligence to translate text in over 50 languages. It can understand the tone and context of text and can make them more formal or friendly for kids. It doesn’t have offline mode and website translation that Google offers though, but it makes languages more conversational.

ChatGPT Translate is a dedicated, AI-powered web-based tool designed to rival existing services like Google Translate. While users have used ChatGPT for translation for quite some time, OpenAI made this platform specifically for converting text between more than 50 languages.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Translate is here to rival Google Translate

The platform has the classic two-box layout, with input on the left and output on the right, and it can automatically detect the language. Beneath the translation boxes are quick prompts that allow users to refine the output with a single click.

For instance, you can ask the AI to make a sentence sound more professional for a business email, simpler for a child to understand, or adjust it for an academic paper. After choosing any of these options, the tool moves the text into a standard chat window where it applies the specific instructions. So it basically moves you from a digital translator interface to an AI chat interface for more fine-tuning.

The tool is currently in a “lite” phase. Compared to Google Translate, which can work with more than 200 languages and can translate whole websites, documents, and even handwriting, ChatGPT Translate can only translate about 50 languages, for now at least.

The site mentions support for images and files but it isn’t fully functional for everyone. Also, the desktop version lacks voice input and relies only on text. Since there isn’t a dedicated offline app, it might not be appealing for travellers heading to areas with unreliable internet access.

How to use ChatGPT Translate

Since OpenAI didn’t introduce this tool with a major announcement, it’s probably testing the waters before making an official launch in the translation market. There might even be an offline app in the future if it’s to fully go head-on with Google. You can try out ChatGPT Translate from this link.
