Poco X2 Pocophone is the first smartphone from Poco after becoming an independent brand separate from Xiaomi, and we now have official word that it will be unveiled on February 4.
The launch event is billed to hold in India’s capital city, New Delhi. Poco says the phone is a device with “extreme refresh rate” and for “extreme gaming”.
The smartphone maker has published a dedicated teaser website for the upcoming handset, providing hints on the features and capabilities the phone is expected to launch with.
When you visit the teaser website on your mobile, it will load into a screen refresh rate, suggesting that a 120Hz panel will be featured on the Poco X2.
The teaser website also reveals that the upcoming device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, which will be liquid-cooled. The specific processor is not mentioned, however. Sony’s IMX686 sensor is mentioned, so we can expect to see a 64MP camera on the Poco X2.
