Realme has released a video that reveals more details about the modular camera design and colour options of the GT 8 Pro just before it makes its debut. Realme’s Vice President describes the new phone design as a fusion of mechanical precision and elegance, introducing a significant leap forward in design for the brand.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is a first-of-its-kind phone to introduce a modular camera layout with detachable modules. This design allows users to swap out the camera module with shapes they prefer. From the video, there are three shapes users can choose from: round, square, and robot modules.

The video highlights the ease with which the camera modules can be swapped. It doesn’t require technical expertise at all. You just need to unscrew the pre-fitted module, choose your preferred module, place it where the previous module was fitted, and screw it there. The company is expected to sell these interchangeable modules separately, but the accessories to swap the module (the screwdriver) will be included in the packaging box.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will feature a 2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It offers a triple camera setup. It packs a 200MP telephoto lens, a 50MP primary shooter, and a 50MP ultrawide lens, delivering professional-grade photography.
