The A73 was the last phone in Samsung’s Galaxy A7x line and it was launched in 2022. Since then, this part of the A series has been dead, but now it seems Samsung wants to bring it back to life with the Galaxy A77. The A7x series might not be erased after all.

A model of the Samsung Galaxy A77 was noticed in the Geekbench online database, with 8GB of RAM, Android 16 on board, and a mystery chipset related to Samsung’s Exynos 2400 and 2400e. But based on the CPU clock configuration, it is lower-end than both of them.

The SoC features a CPU with three Prime cores clocked at up to 2.78GHz, three performance cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at up to 1.82GHz. It’s still deca-core like the Exynos 2400 and 2400e.

The Galaxy A77 is more of an upper mid-range device than a premium smartphone. The chips could be lower-tier Exynos 2400 family chips. There isn’t much to go on with. Other features of the Galaxy A77 haven’t been revealed yet. The smartphone will probably arrive in March, 2026. That’s if it’s going to launch alongside the A57 . Before it launches, there will be more updates about its features.
