Add MobilityArena as a preferred source on Google
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ are reportedly getting the August 2020 Android security update. This update is seeing a staged roll-out, as only a number of users in Germany have access to the update at the time of this report.
This new software update has the version numbers N975FXXS6CTGA/N975FOXM6CTGA. The changelog does not make any mention of new features or bug fixes coming with this update, meaning that users should only expect the updated security patch.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ devices will receive a notification concerning the update. It is expected to weigh around 169MB and you can check it out manually by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install . As earlier stated, this update is not yet available to users in other regions, but it is expected to get to these regions in the coming weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series was launched last year and is expected to be replaced by the Galaxy Note 20 series which is expected to launch on the 5 th of August at the Galaxy 2020 Unpacked Event.

South Korean tech company Samsung is currently rolling out its latest security update to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy A50 devices. This firmware is expected in just a number of countries presently and should get to other regions in the coming days.
This update is rolling out in stages in typical Samsung tradition and has the firmware version G770FXXS3BTG2 for the Galaxy S10 Lite and A505FNXXS5BTH1 for the Galaxy A50. Reports from SamMobile say that the Galaxy S10 Lite will receive the August 2020 security patch update in Panama, Bolivia, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Colombia, and Paraguay. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A50 will come to countries like Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, and France.

There are also no reports of any bug fixes or new features with these updates. You can check if the August 2020 security patch is available on your phone by clicking Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. You can also manually download this firmware version on a PC.
With the Unpacked event billed for the 5 th of August 2020, a number of new devices will be unveiled to the public.
