South Korean tech company Samsung is currently rolling out its latest security update to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy A50 devices. This firmware is expected in just a number of countries presently and should get to other regions in the coming days.
This update is rolling out in stages in typical Samsung tradition and has the firmware version G770FXXS3BTG2 for the Galaxy S10 Lite and A505FNXXS5BTH1 for the Galaxy A50. Reports from SamMobile say that the Galaxy S10 Lite will receive the August 2020 security patch update in Panama, Bolivia, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Colombia, and Paraguay. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A50 will come to countries like Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, and France.
There are also no reports of any bug fixes or new features with these updates. You can check if the August 2020 security patch is available on your phone by clicking Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. You can also manually download this firmware version on a PC.
With the Unpacked event billed for the 5 th of August 2020, a number of new devices will be unveiled to the public.

I downloaded the app and took it for a spin to see what the experience is like. The app’s homepage has a featured section, nvivoTV Originals (offering exclusive nvivo content that you won’t find elsewhere) section, Bollywood Juju section, Top Trending Shows, and Quickies (no; not those kind of quickies; get your mind out of the gutter).
To answer the question on your mind, Quickies are short documentaries and shows. Are you happy now? It does not offer any adult content.
The nvivoTV app lets you select video quality, which is great for limiting how much data you consume. Options include Auto, 720p, 480p, and 240p. It also lets you select a playback speed, similar to what obtains on YouTube. Options include Normal, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x.
I am able to watch Quickies and Bollywood Juju videos without signing in, but nvivoTV Originals require a sign in. If you are tired of creating another user account whose login details you will quickly forget, thankfully, the option to sign in with Facebook and Google are there.
A Commendable Industry Initiative
What is really interesting about nvivoTV app is that it is developed and run in partnership with TV and movie producers. It is an industry collaboration that benefits everyone. It is good to see the movie industry embrace the Internet as a distribution channel and come up with this. As mentioned before, there are shows and movies that are created specifically for nvivoTV alone.

Nvivo is available as a website and as a mobile app for both Android phone and iPhone users. It was launched in November 2019. As at the time of writing this article, the Android app had less than 10,000 installs.
That number is small, considering what nvivo offers, and I have wondered why it isn’t being talked about and downloaded more than it has been.
