Though it hasn’t been confirmed yet, but there’s a report on Samsung’s first device to be made on a 2nm process – Samsung Exynos 2600 chip. The rumour has it that the chip will power the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip8 and potentially the S26 family in at least one country . More details have started unveiling about an Exynos Modem 5410, probably a part of the Exynos 2600 package.
The Exynos Modem 5410 integrates LTE DTC, NB IoT NTN, and NR NTN on a single chip. NB IoT NTN, or NarrowBand Internet of Things Non-Terrestrial Networks, is at the lower end of the communication spectrum. It allows for very sparse data throughput, like location of data or text transmission . It also does so across deserts or oceans and this portion is certified by Skylo.
LTE DTC, short for Long Term Evolution Direct to Cell, is arguably the main attraction as it offers extended satellite communication capabilities like voice. There’s also NR NTN, short for New Radio Non-Terrestrial Networks. This offers better data throughout and has the capacity to enable satellite video calls in the future.
Exynos Modem is one of the company’s modems, made on an advanced 4nm EUV process. It is based on the 3GPP Release 17 standard and supports 5G NR dual connectivity across FR1 sub 6GHz and FR2 mmWave. It also lists peak download speed up to 14.79Gbps. Though it’s not certain if Exynos Modem 5410 is coming to the Galaxy S26 series, it’s one of the company’s premium modems.
It’s likely going to feature the Exynos Modem 5410 if the Galaxy S26 family eventually comes out with advanced satellite connectivity.

The only challenge or limitation with the Samsung laptop is that you’re limited to 256GB of storage and you’re missing out on a few modern features like a touchscreen display and a fingerprint scanner.
