Samsung has added a new device to the M-series lineup, the Galaxy M11. This smartphone is a successor to the Galaxy M10 and is expected to be a low-end smartphone with a number of decent specs and good pricing. This smartphone was launched in the UAE, with the smartphone expected to reach other markets in the coming weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy M11 draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC which is listed in the phone’s Google Play Console Listing and is paired with a 3GB RAM. This budget smartphone from Samsung is a dual-SIM (Nano) phone which runs on One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 OS.

The Galaxy M11 features a decent 6.4-inch HD+ (720×1560) display that houses a hole-punch in its top left corner. In the camera department, this smartphone comes with three rear cameras, with a main 13-megapixel camera that is accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 115-degree field of view. Up front, the M11 has an 8-megapixel camera to take care of video calls and selfies.
This budget smartphone’s 32GB onboard storage ensures that you have enough space for what is necessary but can also be expanded to 512GB (via microSD) when you want to be able to save as many files as possible. With a 5,000mAh battery which supports fast charging at 15W, this device already seems like a worthy successor to the M10.
No mention has been made regarding pricing yet, but with the M10 costing around €108, the M11 is expected to cost around the same. The Galaxy M11 will come in Black, Metallic Blue and Violet colours. The smartphone will be available in a number of online stores in the UAE, with no exact dates mentioned.

With most of the world now spending more time indoors due to the coronavirus, we have seen a surge in remote work, with most companies taking their businesses online. Google has decided to boost user experience with an update to the Google Duo which now lets it support 12 participants on a single session.
Google Duo is a nice option for video calls, as it is not restricted to certain models-like Apple’s FaceTime. The Google Duo is free and covers a wide range of platforms.

Last year, Google added Duo with an eight-party limit like the Houseparty app (owned by Epic), which has grown viral in recent weeks due to the lockdown. Other apps like Skype support as many as 50 users while Google’s Meet by Hangouts apps supports up to 100 users, but is only reserved for G-Suite business users.
This news was announced by Google’s communications suite lead Sanaz Ahari Lemelson. This update has taken place on the server side, which simply means that end users need not download any updates from the PlayStore to enjoy this new limit from Google Duo.
This is a welcome development, with most individuals stuck at home and needing to keep in touch with family, friends and co-workers this period.
