Rumours have it that Samsung will bring support for Qi2 wireless charging with magnets to its upcoming Galaxy S26 devices. The Qi2 power bank is expected to launch in early February. As it is now, the upcoming Qi2 power bank made for the Galaxy S26 series has been revealed.

Reports show that the power bank has the model number EB-U2500 and supports wireless charging at up to 15W. It’s also expected to charge devices via a USB-C cable at up to 20W with USB-PD or Qualcomm Quick Charge. The power bank on the other hand, charges at 25W. Since Qi2 is mainly MagSafe for Android, the power bank can attach magnetically to the phones.

The power bank features a fold-out kickstand and a magnetic ring design for perfect attachment. It also comes with LED indicators for battery level and a side button. It’s believed to launch at the same time as the Galaxy S26 family and priced at €59.90 in the Eurozone.

Previous reports have it that Samsung plans to introduce an upgrade to the charging speeds of its upcoming smartphones. This is a wireless charger that uses the Qi2 25W protocol for fast wireless charging.

Samsung’s upcoming Magnetic Wireless Charger has the model number EP-P2900BBEGWW and can deliver up to 25W of wireless charging power. It is expected to come in a single colour, and it seems only the Galaxy S26 Ultra supports up to 25W fast wireless charging.

Other features of the charger include a USB Type-C port on one end and a circular magnetic wireless charging puck on the other. It seems like the cable is nylon braided. Samsung suggests pairing it with a 45W USB Power Delivery charger. Though it’s similar to Qi2 wireless charging pucks from Apple and other brands.

Based on previous reports, it means the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ will likely support up to 20W of fast wireless charging with this charger. Though Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also compatible with this charger. The information on the charger’s box reveals that these devices are limited to a maximum of 15W of wireless charging.

Samsung is positive it will dominate the smartphone market this year.
