SONY Xperia 5 II has been launched as the newest addition to the company’s range of smartphones. The Japanese company, which is expected to release the PlayStation 5 sometime in November, has incorporated a number of interesting features in the Xperia 5 II.

The SONY Xperia 5 II launched with the Android 10 OS and is built around a 6.1-inch OLED (1080×2520 pixels) display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, the octa-core Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 chipset is hooked to 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of onboard storage (expandable via microSD).
In the camera department, this smartphone boasts the same triple-rear camera setup as its predecessor, the Xperia 5 , with three 12MP modules in typical Sony style. Up front, an 8MP selfie camera takes care of video call responsibilities and selfies.
The SONY Xperia 5 II launched with IP68/IPX5 dust and water resistance, with both front and back protected by Gorilla Glass 6. This device has a 4,000mAh battery pack that supports fast charging at 21W, weighing 163 grams and measuring 158×68×8 mm
The SONY Xperia 5 II launched in Blue, Pink, Grey, and Blue colours, but we may see more colour shades in the coming weeks. This smartphone will be available for pre-orders in the U.S from $950, and buyers who pre-order this smartphone by November 29 will get a gaming bundle that consists of a gaming headset, 21,600 Call of Duty Mobile points, and a 10,000mAh power bank.

Apple has taken the wraps off iOS 14, the lastest operating system for iPhones. This year’s iPhones are yet to be officially announced, but iOS 14 is rolling out to older devices already.
So are iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, and watchOS 7, for Apple iPads, TV boxes, and wearables respectively.

But back to iOS 14, it adds homescreen widgets to the mix, so iPhone users can now enjoy this very feature that Android users have had for years. The gap between Android and iOS is gradually closing.
Another new feature is that, thanks to iOS 14, iPhone users are able to change the default browser and email apps on their smartphones.
Microsoft was quick to jump on this and has updated its Outlook app for iOS to support this new feature, so if you prefer it to Apple’s mail app, you can now set it as your default email app.
Privacy-focused web browser and search engine, DuckDuckGo, has quickly jumped in too and updated their iOS app, so you can now set it as your iPhone’s default web browser.
Apple iPad 2020 is official
If you are still one of the few people on the planet who buys tablets, Apes latest has been announced. The 4th generation of the iPad Air features a 10.9″ display with the new A14 Bionic chipset, and a USB-C port. Yay!

The price starts from $599 for the wi-fi-only variant and $729 for the WiFi + cellular variant.
The iPad proper got a new release too. Its display is 10.2 inches in size. It has bigger bezels than the iPad Air and uses the older A12 Bionic chipset.
The 8th generation iPad will set you back by $329 for the wi-fi-only variant and $459 for the WiFi + cellular variant.
Samsung Galaxy Watch3
Residents of the United States will be able to order the Samsung galaxy Watch3 locally on Samsung’s website and at mobile retailers around the country.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G too
This new 5G OnePlus phone will cost below $400 in the United States. It is powered by a Snapdragon 690 chipset, coupled with a minimum of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage memory.
The screen is 6.49 inches in size and a 64MP main camera at the rear.
Apple Watch Series 6 is official

The next generation Apple Watch has been announced. It uses the A13 chip and has a new feature that lets you monitor your blood oxygen.
Pricing starts from $399 for the GPS-only variant, and $499 for the GPS + Cellular variant.
When Will the iPhone 12 launch?
Nobody seems to know for now when the iPhone 12 will go official. It is a waiting game from here. Hang in there, you iPhone lovers. It won’t be long any more. Unconfirmed rumours say it will happen in October.
