The TCL 10 series lineup was first unveiled in January this year. It features three phone models – TCL 10 Pro, 10 5G, and 10L. During the initial unveiling, the detailed specs were not made available. The official specifications of all three have now been announced. The smartphones have a number of similarities, sharing a number of key specs. None of them costs above $500.
TCL 10 Pro
The TCL 10 Pro comes with an AMOLED screen which has a 6.47-inch display with a 1080p+ resolution. The display possesses curved sides with a teardrop notch housing the 24-megapixel camera.

The quad-rear cameras have a 64-megapixel main shooter that is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, this is accompanied by a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel low-light camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The TCL 10 Pro sits on a Snapdragon 675 chipset which has 6GB RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage, this storage can be expanded to 256GB or more with a microSD. This smartphone comes with a 4,500mAH battery which supports fast charging at 18W.
TCL 10 5G
The TCL 10 5G shares a number of features with the 10 Pro. They both possess the same battery rating, internal storage space and RAM. However, the TCL 10 5G has a different chipset, the Snapdragon 765G, under the hood which translates to a faster CPU and GPU.
This smartphone also has a 64-megapixel main sensor but has a lower ultra-wide-angle camera at 8-megapixel. It possesses a 5-megapixel macro cam and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The TCL 10 5G has a slightly larger display measuring 6.53 inches and featuring a punch hole with a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the display has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a resolution of 1080p+.
It will sell for €399 or £399 “later in the year”, again TCL says. That is about $430. This price is groundbreaking, as most 5G smartphones in existence today sell for over $1,000. Finally, you do not have to spend so much to own a 5G phone.
TCL 10L
The simplest of the TCL 10 phones, the TCL 10L shares a number of similarities with the TCL 10 5G, having the same display and selfie cameras. The main camera is slightly lower, with a 48-megapixel main sensor which can record 4K videos at 30fps.
This smartphone sits pretty on a Snapdragon 665 chipset with 6GB of RAM. The device comes in two variants, with a 64GB variant and a 128GB variant which can both be expanded via microSD.
Prices And Release Dates
The smartphone has a smaller 4,000mAh battery that does not support fast charge. The TCL 10 Pro is expected to cost $450, with the TCL 10 5G costing around $430, while the TCL 10L will cost $250.
The TCL 10L and 10 Pro are expected to be released in the second quarter of the year, with no news yet regarding the release date of the TCL 10 5G.
