Hyundai is preparing to launch a luxury car line-up called Genesis. This was previously a name for one of its sedans and a sporty coupe. The brand will be launched in North America and worldwide, and will be extended to six models, all to be launched by 2020.

The Genesis models will be graced with a new wing-type emblem. The new line-up will be based on “human-focused innovation, refined and balanced performance, athletic elegance in design and a hassle-free customer experience”.

Euisun Chung, Hyundai Motor Company Vice Chairman, had this to say:

“We have created this new Genesis brand with a complete focus on our customers who want smart ownership experiences that save time and effort, with practical innovations that enhance satisfaction,” “The Genesis brand will fulfil these expectations, becoming a market leader through our human-centered brand strategy.”

“Beats Music ends on November 30. Your subscription will be cancelled, but you can move your picks and preferences over to Apple Music right now.”

Beats Music join Apple Music - 2

The following three reasons must be why Apple acquired beats:

  1. to acquire more users for Apple Music
  2. to acquire new talent/skill
  3. to take out a competitor

As part of the acquisition, Beats co-founders, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, joined Apple. It looks like this is a case of mission accomplished on all three counts. Beats Music has been swallowed up and is about to become history. Long live Apple Music.
