Ever since Google’s Material 3 Expressive launched, Google apps have gradually been integrated with it. It comes with bright colours and bold design elements. The Google Photos backup section will soon get this new design. The design makeover isn’t the only change, as Google Photos might soon get the long-anticipated backup schedule option.

Google Photos backup schedule feature
The backup section in Google Photos allows you to control how your photos are stored in the cloud. You can turn on the feature or leave it off. You can also decide to only back up your favourites, pick the picture quality and other options.
This change organises things better with options like Backup Mode, Backup quality, and Backup device folder now present under categories. Google is separating them under new headings, including “How to back up,” “What to back up,” and “Backup tools.”
The Backup schedule feature lets users set a specific time to upload photos or set a time frame, like daily, weekly, or monthly. It may likely be similar to the Backup schedule for Android. There are no details on when Google will make this official.
