The site ConsumerAffairs had an overall star review rating of 3.2 stars out of 5. Let’s start with the good reviews, some customers wrote about the affordability of the company and the fast internet speed. There was an average amount of good reviews but they weren’t many. Here’s one:
•With all of the negative reviews, I thought I needed to voice my views. I had my new ViaSat internet system installed and what a difference! I went from 9 Mbps on my HughesNet Gen 5 to over 60 Mbps with my new ViaSat. Service/installation was great! I’m VERY pleased!!
For the bad reviews, some customers claimed the internet doesn’t work good and are overpriced. A lot of customers were not happy with their cancellation process and the company not keeping its promise. Anger was expressed over the company’s tech support, claiming that any time Viasat said they would send out a technician, no one ever came. Here’s one of the reviews:
•I paid a ridiculous monthly payment of about $170 a month for too long so that I could work at home and my kids could do school work at home when needed. Noticed that things would slow if we “ran out of data.” Another standard answer was “it’s the weather.” Note: it states that weather does not affect service on their website. I had a couple service calls over a few years. The technician would never show up in slotted time or even day. What I figured out in end is they do not have their own service people. They contract and don’t even ask me how this works as they have a choice to choose your time slot if you call in. They tell you someone will be there at certain time and you are waiting.

The other site I visited was Trustpilot and the site had an overall star review rating of 1.8 stars out of 5 on Viasat phone service reviews.
Let’s begin with the good reviews, to be honest there was only one good review on the site. The review is from the year 2020 and its very long so here’s an image of it below.
Now, onto the bad reviews which the site was majorly filled with, a lof of customrs also complained about lack of technician and customer service. Another customer also complained that their prices are ‘ outrageous’. There were also some complaints about their slow internet and electrical outages. There were also issues with their cancellation process and returning of equipment.
A few customers wrote about how they contacted the company to return their equipment after cancellation and the company said they would send out a box so they can collect their equipment but the customers never received any box and the company still charged them when it was their fault. Here’s one of the reviews:
•This service and company deserves 0 stars if that was an option. This is the worst service ever. Any time i have tried to get tech support and report/resolve my issues it is a dead end. Same result every time, no resolution. Poor customer service. Terrible service. They overcharge and charge outrageous rates for basically no service. Out of a months worth of service we may get 3 days of service the rest, just count it as a loss, when we are no where near the “cap” when its suppose to be “unlimited”. I cannot stress how unacceptable this service is and how terrible it is, and to top it off, charging outrageous prices.

Sprint was founded on December 21st 1899 and as of April 2nd, the company was no longer independent. Sprint is now officially part of T-mobile, creating America’s largest, fastest and now most reliable 5G network.

I came across the site, MoneySavingPro, where I found a few reviews on Sprint’s service. The site had an overall star review rating of 2 out of 5 stars. Let’s start off with the good reviews, most, if not all of the good reviews were from years back like 2016/2017. I did not find any good reviews from this year or the previous year. The good reviews were about affordability and good customer service. Some also praised the internet speed and data plans. Here’s a review:
Sprint is an excellent choice for a cellphone company. They provide unlimited data plans for a fair rate. I have never had trouble with service and whenever I have a question, I am generally able to find the solution on their website.
For the bad reviews, there were current reviews from this year and the previous one. A lot of customers were not happy with their customer service. They complained about how they are always put on hold and Sprint doesn’t pass information across to them before acting. They were unhappy that customer service was ‘unfriendly’ and seemed to ‘not know what they are doing’. Someone also complained about difficulty in purchasing. Here’s one of the bad reviews:
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had nothing but trouble since day one . I have made hundreds of phone calls to customer service, supervisors , managers and promised every time the issue would be resolved to no avail. Promises to follow up and that it wouldn’t happen again. Customer service reps are rude and do not follow up and do what they promise. I have reported the issues to supervisors and nothing has been resolved.

The next site I visited was Trustpilot and the site has an overall star review rating of 1.2 stars out of 5. A lot of the good reviews were about customer service reps. Customers praised the reps that attended to them and showed their gratitude. Here’s one of the reviews:
Hi my name is Shannon Chappell. I recently visited the sprint/T-Mobile location in greenwood sc. Thomas Harris assisted me. He was patient, polite, courteous, and sincere about helping resolve my issue. We ended up upgrading my daughter’s phone and bought accessories for her phone. He displayed excellent customer service. I was well pleased with him.
Now, onto the bad reviews, there were complaints about issues with phones, raising of bills and customer service. A customer also complained that he/she had cancelled their account with Sprint and paid off their balance and Sprint confirmed it, now months later they were given a debtor collectors notice and are being billed. Some claimed they left out information and were ‘misled’ by the sales rep. Here’s a review:
I would give zero stars if I could. First of all the service has gone downhill since the merger with T-mobile. The customer service is just awful and they’re unwilling to work with your bill in this difficult time with the pandemic ruining people’s lives. I have been a customer over 20 years but that means little to this company. There’s no loyalty at all with this unreasonable company. Please everyone who reads this, do not join, try or give any money to this, the worst cellular phone company ever created. I can’t wait to leave and give my hard earned money to a cell company who will charge me less and not add all new fees, taxes and other charges without telling you. Please I beg you, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT ever commit any money to this company. They will just take, take and take from you. Buyer beware don’t do it!!!!!!

After reading through a lot of reviews on different sites, it is clear that a lot of customers are not quite happy with the company and their services. Sprint has a lot of work to do.
