The Vivo Y73s launched over the weekend as the latest addition to the company’s increasing number of 5G devices. This new entrant brings the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC, which launched in July, alongside triple rear cameras and a 6.44-inch display.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y73s launched with the Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10 and brings 128GB of onboard storage to the table. It is built around a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC which supports 5G technology keeps this smartphone ticking. It also provides 8GB of RAM as well.

In the camera department, this smartphone’s three rear cameras consist of a 48MP primary sensor assisted by an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. Up front, a 16MP sensor takes care of selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y73s launched in China with two color options, Silver Moon and Black Mirror colors. It also brings a 4,100mAh battery that supports 18W Dual Flash fast charging, and is tipped to deliver around 18 hours of talk-time on a 4G network. It is currently limited to the Chinese market with no details yet concerning the timeframe this smartphone will reach other markets.
It is available in a lone storage variant, an 8GB+128GB variant which costs CNY 1,998 ($295) and is expected to go on sale from the 16th of October. It weighs 171.3 grams and measures 161×74.04×7.73mm.

Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 225 4G have been launched in China as the latest budget smartphones from HMD global. Both smartphones come with Wireless FM radio, Bluetooth support, and of course, 4G-LTE support.
Nokia 215 4G
The dual-SIM (Nano) Nokia 215 4G is built around a 2.4-inch LCD display surrounded by thick bezels. It also features an MP3 player, a Wireless FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a flashlight.
The Nokia 215 4G has a removable battery that can be charged with a Micro-USB port and there is also a physical T9 keyboard which was really popular with Nokia phones in the early 21 st century. This smartphone has no cameras and offers storage space that is expandable via micro SD to 32GB. As an extra, the company has added the legendary Snake game on this smartphone, bringing back sweet memories for a select number of users.
It measures 124.70 x 51.00 x 13.70mm, weighs 90 grams and costs $36.

Nokia 225 4G
This dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone shares the same display size as the 215 4G. It also offers 4G TD-LTE VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth support, and features a removable battery that is charged with a Micro-USB port.
It shares all of its remaining features with the 215 4G, with the main difference being a rear camera. The Nokia 225 4G sports a rear camera with a VGA snapper on the back panel. It costs $44 and is available in Black, Blue and Gold, with pre-orders expected to kick off on the 17 th of this month.
