Thiis time, we explore and compare two BLU smartphones? As far as I can tell, they are almost identical twins. But surely, there must be some similarities between them; right? We find out in our BLU VIVO X6 vs BLU Vivo XL5 comparison.
BLU products are mostly available and sold unlocked in the United States, and are compatibile with all GSM Networks, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, metro PCS, and others. Unfortunately, they cannot be used with CDMA carriers and networks like Verizon, Sprint and Boost mobile.
There is a striking resemblance between these two – waterdrop notch, thick bottom bezel/chin, and even the vertical camera bumps are almost exactly the same. How similar or different are they on the inside? It is time to find out.

These two BLU products are almost evenly matched. With a few exceptions, they have very similar specs.

It is difficult to point out any areas in which the XL5 offers a better feature or implementation when compared to the X6.
It is valid that the XL5 has a bigger display, but that is quickly given up once you recall that it has a significantly lower resolution or pixel density.

We can also point out that BLU Vivo XL5 costs less. That is an advantage, surely.

The higher screen pixel density is a key benefit that the BLU Vivo X6 has against the Vivo XL5. Beyond that almost everything else is similar between them.

Also, while they both have a 4000mAh battery, the Vivo X6 has 10W fast charging, which the XL5 lacks.

In every other way, they share similar specs – software, cameras, batteries, and storage, among others. As fas as I am concerned, that 10W fast charging gives the Vivo X6 an edge. 10W fast charging isn’t that fast, but I will take it over regular charging.
If I had to pick, BLU Vivo X6 would be my choice. The package is just better all-round and the price difference between them is too narrow to not pick the more capable device. Which of the two that you opt for is your choice. Happy shopping!

WhatsApp is believed to be working on a new wallpaper feature that will now let users select different backgrounds for different chats depending on the theme employed in the app. This new feature was seen in a previous iOS beta version, and is now believed to be under development for the Android platform as well.
The development of this feature was spotted in the WhatsApp v2.20.199.5 beta for Android. This feature, as earlier stated, is still under development, and will not be available to users even if they are using the beta version. It is expected to rollout in some future beta version, before it then gets released to the general public.
A report by WABetaInfo says that when users want to choose a default wallpaper in the app, it will ask if they want to download the WhatsApp Wallpaper App. This app lets them select different wallpapers for the chat app’s background. It is believed that once the new feature is official, the wallpaper app will be updated with more options for users to choose from.
WhatsApp is also said to be working on a Storage Usage redesign. This section will have a new storage bar at the top with details showing the space taken up by media files shared over the app. A Suggested clean up option will also be available. This will list forwarded and large files in a thumbnail view to help users review them and delete them if need be. This feature is still under development and has not yet been enabled for WhatsApp beta users.
