It was in November that the DJI Neo 2 drone was released internationally. You now have a new update that allows you to control the drone completely from your Apple Watch . This works with the Apple Watch Series 8, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3 respectively.

The new DJI Neo 2 software with the new features is labelled v01.00.0500. You also need the latest version of the DJI Fly app – v1.19.4. It’s now easy to control the DJI Neo 2 with your Apple Watch .
According to DJI, it will be useful, mainly for sports scenarios like cycling and running. You can imagine many more times when grabbing your phone or controller is unworkable.
There are some limitations though. The power saving rules still apply to the live camera view on your watch even when you lower your wrist. It becomes live again when you raise it. You can voice control the drone from your wrist. This is after you have given DJI Fly mic access on your iPhone and then turned on Voice Control in the DJI Fly settings. Your watch can also become a mini mic for on-the-go sound.

As fraudsters become increasingly creative in scamming people and tricking them into revealing sensitive information, Google has sought ways to limit their activities by introducing a feature that targets one of their tactics.

A new Scam Detection feature is rolling out to Android . After being tested in the UK, it will come to the US region. Google is working on the in-call protection to combat scams . If you’re on a call with someone who’s not saved as a contact and you’re sharing your screen with a financial app that’s open, Android will display a new warning message on your screen, alerting you to a potential scam that may be going on.
The on-screen warning message isn’t the only upgrade. There’s also an attached button to automatically end the call and cancel screen sharing, as well as a 30-second timer put in place to slow down the interaction, just in case you still want to continue. This prevents you from following further instructions from the scammers at that moment.
The scam detection feature will begin testing in Brazil and India and expand to the UK. According to Google, Chase products and Cash App will feature this type of protection. This protection feature to reduce the number of scam cases will only work if they are on board.
The tactics by scammers to fool people into paying money or revealing confidential information may not completely come to an end, but will be significantly reduced, as Google unveils this feature that will fight such interactions.
