Have you ever heard of YouTube Rewind? Ever since it’s inception on an annual basis, this feature brings together all the top trends of the year into one big video aimed at celebrating its content creators from various fields.
Well most people did not buy this idea, but YouTube stuck to it’s gun for quite a while, and now it has finally decided to let go. The reason for this decision after a period of 10 years, a YouTube spokesperson said, is “because its platform has become so massive that it is impossible to encapsulate its vastness and diversity within a minutes-long compilation.” So what was meant is that, a few minute long video would not be able to cover a whole year of content on YouTube.
Will There Be A Replacement To YouTube Rewind?

YouTube Rewind.
The answer is a resounding no. The company already has a lot on its hand with regards in the form of making YouTube Shorts and YouTube Premium even better.
But the spokesperson went on to say that “It’ll continue to be inspiring to see the myriad of ways the most creative content producers in the world – our YouTube creators – encapsulate the end of the year in their video recaps, as YouTube retires its own Rewind video.” So the ball is now in the court of the content creators out there to draw attention to their content in unique ways.

Every now and then on Twitter, there are personality clashes and the battle for who’s opinion is more favourable. These battles have in a way created unnecessary friction between users of this platform.
Twitter has set out to help curb these unnecessary arguments by testing out a new prompt that helps identify tweets that might break into heated conversations and arguments.

Warning prompt for heated conversations on Twitter
As we should expect, Twitter is first testing out the usability of this prompt with a small group of people ( like they did with previous added features ) before it goes on to the beta stage testing and finally gets rolled out for general usage.
This feature can help protect unsuspecting users from the deluge of savage remarks that can result from engaging in such conversations.
